Text message terms — Amicalola Pros Alerts
Effective November 7, 2026 · Version 1.1
Amicalola Pros LLC, a South Dakota limited liability company ("Amicalola Pros", "AP", "we"), runs the text messaging program Amicalola Pros Alerts. This page describes that program. It is published so that you, and the mobile carriers who deliver our texts, can see exactly what we send and how to stop it.
1. Program name
Amicalola Pros Alerts
2. Who sends the texts
Amicalola Pros LLC sends every text in this program from a US local number registered in our name. Local businesses we match you with contact you from their own numbers, under their own names, and are not part of this program.
3. What texts we send
Depending on how you use Amicalola Pros, you may receive:
- Homeowner request texts — a confirmation when you submit a request, how many local pros were notified, a courtesy text if no pro is available, and a text if your request is closed.
- Pro (contractor) alerts — new lead alerts with an accept link, a "did you get the job?" follow-up, billing and floor-status notices, failed-card notices, receptionist call summaries, forwarding-test prompts, and account notices.
- Pro account texts — one-time login codes and mobile-number verification codes.
- Receptionist summaries — if you use AP Receptionist, a summary text after each call your line handles.
- Demo call (CALL reply) — if a business that has opted in replies CALL to one of our texts, one automated demo call from our AI receptionist to that number, within about a minute. The call says it is an AI in its first sentence and may be recorded. Saying "don't call me" or "take me off your list" during the call, or replying STOP, ends all further calls and texts.
- Service notices — changes to these terms, outages, or safety notices that affect an open request.
We do not send texts about anything other than Amicalola Pros. We do not sell your number.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies. It depends on your requests and, for pros, on how many leads land in your area. A homeowner usually receives 1–3 texts per request. A pro may receive several texts a day when leads are busy.
5. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply to every text you send or receive. Amicalola Pros does not charge for texts.
6. How to stop
Reply STOP to any text from us at any time. You will get one confirmation text and nothing more. Replying STOP to a homeowner request also closes that request. Replying STOP as a pro turns off all texts, including lead alerts, so you will not receive leads until you turn texts back on by replying START or from your dashboard.
You may also email hello@amicalolapros.com and we will remove your number within 24 hours.
7. How to get help
Reply HELP to any text and we will send our support email and this page's address. You can also email hello@amicalolapros.com. We reply within 24 hours.
8. Supported carriers
Major US carriers are supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. The consent wording on our form
This is the exact wording shown next to the consent checkbox on the homeowner request form. The box is unchecked by default. The text, the time you agreed, and your IP address are stored with your request.
> I agree that Amicalola Pros LLC may text and call me at this number about my request, including with automated technology. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Pros agree to the same program at signup, with "about my request" read as "about leads, my account and my service".
10. Privacy
How we handle your number and the rest of your information is in our Privacy policy. Our general Terms of service also apply.
